so,

it really would be helpful for the spf community to document proper and
improper usage of spf.

it would make discussion about its role far more productive and precise.

Yes, unfortunately some people do get a little carried away in their
evangelizing, and start to make exaggerated proclamations (FUSSP etc.).

I'm hoping to create a resource of some description (probably wiki-like)
to provide an overview, and a simple description of the pros and cons, of
the various email "add-ons" (for want of a better word) that are around.

There seem to be so many dos and donts and religious wars going on in
"the email space" these days, that I think such a resource could be
immensely useful, if it succeeded in remaining free of hyperbole and
the aforementioned religious wars.

I'd be grateful for any ideas and suggestions anyone might have on the best
way to organise editing of such a resource, and on technologies, systems
and software that it should cover -- private mail would be good, for several
reasons:

* I don't get time to keep right up with this list
* It's OT for this list
* It is harder to start religious wars in private mail than on a list

Cheers,

Nick
