RE: Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) Article On Anti-Spam Technologies Mentions SPF

You are clueless.

Nick was describing a policy. The SPF record also describes a policy. And
I bet I could make an SPF record that only allows an IP address between the
hours of 7pm and 8am. But it would require some crontab and DNS work. A
DNS cache at the other end would cause problems. :)

I bet you are a manager! Did your lobotomy hurt much?

Get a clue, please.

Analogy time: you run a small business that keeps getting broken

One day, you leave something at work, and go back for it at 9pm.

 You are arrested.

unfortunately, there are no spf documents that specify proper usage. as of
now, spf is put forward as being appropriate for everyone to use all the
time.

this is like telling the police to arrest anyone who is ever found on the
premises at any time.

so,

it really would be helpful for the spf community to document proper and
improper usage of spf.

it would make discussion about its role far more productive and precise.
