Today I noticed that the I-D three spots above the SPF I-D in the RFC
Editor's queue is now being worked on by the editor. There is a
chance that the SPF I-D will be looked at this year. I have no idea
how long it will take to get the I-D published once the work by the
editor begins.
Well, as of today, there are now RFC's in our part of the editor's
queue both before and *after* the SPF and SenderID I-Ds that appear to
be working on. The SPF and SenderID I-Ds, however, are now marked
"IESG" instead of "EDIT". I presume that this is due to the IESG
appeal on the SenderID drafts. Maybe the IESG really is thinking of
not advancing neither SPF nor SenderID.
