If that is so, then we cannot risk time on a new scheme; we must limit the scope of the charter to S/MIME or PGP.
At the MASS BOF there were at least six proposals, none of which were S/MIME or PGP. Most of them exist in prototype form, some have been in production for several years. Are you saying that we're not allowed to look at those?
