I suppose I'm the only one worrying about this, but.... I'd be much
happier with:
spf-config.domain.com IN TXT "v=spf1..."
or
policy.spf-config.domain.com IN TXT "v=spf1..."
I'm quite concerned that putting TXT records at the top level of the
domain means that we have to be certain that SPF TXT records are always
siftable from other TXT records. While it seems likely that "v=spf1"
at the start of the TXT record is a good tag, it isn't part of any
standard or RFC, so there really is no guarantee. Putting the main
policy under SPF's only sub-domain keeps things tidy, and ensures it'll
never conflict.
