I did think of a shield type signia but that already seems to be
everywhere. I also don't think of SPF as something that you use to shield
yourself from others. I look at it more from the prospective that it
lets others validate you are a valid author (ok, sender) of the message.
The other comment would be that I'm from a VERY conservative state and
people here would probably make noise about a logo that even remotely
could be taken in a sexual way. The male / female thing. Oh, and which
way does this really work? Is the sender opening a locked receiver or is
the receiver unlocking the sender? Now I'm confused....

What about an old fashion Knight's shield with a sideways mailbox
profile in the center with the flag up. or Two mailbox profiles. One on
top / one on bottom. The one on top would have it's flag UP (sending
mail) and the one on top would also have a "male type appendage"
attached at it's base (a key, or an arrow, etc). The mailbox on bottom
would have a "female shape" that is the identicle shape of the "male
appendage" on the upper mailbox. The bottom mailbox's door could also
be open to signify it is accepting mail. One could easily see the top
mailbox had a "key" to fit the bottom mailbox.
